East Coasters, in light of the impending doom, I would like to pass on a little advice my dad gave me on the phone today. Having lived through many hurricanes as a child in HK, he suggests that during the storm I:
“Go outside and play in the street.”
You heard it here first. Go outside and play in the streets.
In a raincoat, of course.
The above photo is from Ellen, an English teacher in Taipei, who says, “This submission addresses one particular phenomenon. I’ve lived here for five years, and in that time, I’ve seen several otherwise normal looking, middle-aged or elderly Taiwanese people wearing SUICIDAL TENDENCIES hats! I finally captured one on camera, in a Burger King.”
